The purpose of Emmanuel’s Nursery Ministry is to serve the children and parents at Emmanuel by providing a safe, clean, and loving childcare environment. We hope our care for your child(ren) will allow you to participate in the multitude of opportunities available here at Emmanuel.
We encourage all parents to use the nursery whenever possible. Care is provided for all services. The nursery facilities are located on the lower level. Should you choose to keep your child with you in the service we encourage you to sit toward the back of the auditorium.
Our nursery workers are trained and prepared to provide the best possible care for your child. All linens, toys, and equipment are cleaned regularly and each baby is given personal attention.
At Emmanuel, we love all people want to help you take the next step in your spiritual journey. We would love to have one of our ministers “shepherd” you along the way. Here are some of the areas of pastoral care we provide.

Discipleship Classes & Groups
One of the core ministries of the local church is equipping the saints and connecting them with each other. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 we offer a selection of Equipping Classes “E-Classes” on a variety of topics and subjects.
Children are important to us at Emmanuel. We don’t see them simply as the church of tomorrow, they are part of the church today. During our morning worship service children participate in E-Kids (Emmanuel’s Kids). This ministry, while fun, is an intentional disciple-making program to assist parents in teaching their children the Gospel. We don’t want to simply teach kids Bible Stories with a moralistic lesson at the end. We want our kids to know how each story in the Bible connects to THE Story of how God is reconciling a people for His name through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Another way we help equip parents to train their children is through Awana Clubs. Awana is a fun club-like atmosphere where children learn to know and understand the Bible with special attention to systematic scripture memory.
E-Teens (Emmanuel’s Teens) is the Youth Ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Weekly meetings are Sunday mornings at 9:30 and activities are scheduled at various times. E-Teens is for Middle School & High School Students 6th -12th Grades.
Keep up to date with E-Teens on their facebook group here.
Christian Day School
As “a” way to equip parents and children our church operates an optional Christian day school ministry.
In 1972 ECS began as a burden to train young people in a Biblical Worldview. ECS exists to aide in the discipleship, outreach, training, and equipping purposes of Emmanuel Baptist Church. ECS is service organization to both the local church and the Christian home as a partner in discipleship and training young people for effective Christian living. The goal of ECS is to educate in an environment that is academically excellent and passionately Christ-Centered. It is a holistic strategy to train students spiritually, intellectually, socially, culturally, and physically.
